WritRams Goes Red Carpet with Thirst Project’s Thirst Gala

WritRams Goes Hollywood Red CarpetWhen you’ve built your blog as a business, you get a barrage of requests and interactions from groups and organizations, mostly from the ones you have no interest in working with … at all. Many are disrespectful of bloggers and expect us to do things for free when, in fact, we use this business to feed our kids (as much as they use their job to feed theirs, I suspect).

However (and fortunately), we do run across those companies who are a diamond among all the dust out there.

You’ve heard me talk about my partner Skyo.com a great deal on here and on my social media accounts. I love them. I really do. I believe in what they are doing (cheap rental and purchase textbooks with free shipping) and who they are supporting–especially their relationship with the Thirst Project. Now, because of this awesome company and this amazing organization I have the opportunity to celebrate with them at an upcoming red carpet event in Hollywood!

Thirst Project’s Thirst Gala

The Thirst Project’s Thirst Gala will be honoring those who fight for clean water in Hollywood on June 25.

This year, they will be honoring studio Relativity and NCIS star Pauley Perrette. (I.KNOW.) This is especially interesting because my husband totally has a crush on her! (Too creepy?)

Do me a favor? Take a moment today to thank Skyo on Twitter for being such a great company and also follow Thirst Project to support such a great cause.

Watch for my photos from the red carpet!

Now, to find a dress. I don’t think yoga capris are acceptable for Hollywood’s red carpet, do you?
