Visiting Toronto Just Got Easier … and Cooler

| December 21, 2011 | 0 Comments

I’m what you would call a travel “planner.” You know, I pour over books and Internet sites and plan itineraries and schedules so that not one moment is left unused in a new place. I call it organized; my friends and family call it annoying.

One of the things that is truly annoying though is when you are trying to plan a visit to a city, but can’t find any good websites with valuable information. That’s why I was excited to partner up with the ILoveToronto.com site. I genuinely love this site. It’s so clean and user-friendly (a must in my book for planning travel) that you will have no hesitation on making plans for your Canadian city visit.

Want to hit a cool restaurant in the area? No problem! Site owner Heather Hadden gives you a weekly restaurant review of awesome eateries all over the city. You can also easily navigate and find information on different Toronto events and neighborhoods, plays, and even the latest news.

And, ILoveToronto.com isn’t just for visitors. If you live in or around the area, bookmark this site and make it your go-to for news and events. They have even created a ton of different Toronto guides like resources and information for having a baby in the city, a Victorian architecture guide (Hello cool idea! Who wouldn’t love this?), healthy eating in the area, and even the trendiest neighborhoods to visit.

But, guess what else? Heather is a realtor, so if you’re looking to buy or sell in Toronto, she’s set up these handy tax and mortgage calculators so you can get a handle on your expenses before you move forward. You can even see Heather’s current home listings or seach MLS listings for all of Toronto.

See? I told you it was go-to site for everything Toronto. Head over now and then come back here and tell me how awesome ILoveToronto.com is. You know how I love the warm fuzzies.

(Psst, All you Southeastern Michigan and Ohio people: Do you know how close Toronto is to you? It would make an awesome weekend trip!)
