Don’t miss a discount coupon code and the awesome giveaway at the end of the post!
I have an embarrassing admission: until now, we never discussed a will or a trust plan for our family. Although we have made “unofficial” (read: not legally binding) plans for our 3 year old should something happen, The Husband and I had never really sat down and hashed out legal documents for how our assets need to be divided among the girls and to whom that awful antique orange family teapot set will go when we die.
One of the main reasons I put off the process is because I had envisioned massive stacks of forms and late nights of me pulling out my hair trying to figure out legal terms. Thank goodness for EstatePlansDirect.com because they showed me that planning for my family’s future really isn’t as hard as I thought.
With EstatePlansDirect.com, you create an account, choose your option (Trust or Will) and then complete the information with the easy-to-use online forms. Sure you need to put thought into how you want things divided, but the entire online process couldn’t be easier.
Once you have completed your Will or Trust form, you submit it directly to Estate Plans Direct where lawyers will review your material and then provide you with an awesome completed plan in a cool binder for your keeping. In the binder are handy instructions on how to execute each document and–with a Trust–a worksheet and instructions on how to fund your Trust. They also provide an affidavit for you to sign verifying that you executed all of your documents and even a self-addressed, stamped envelope to mail the affidavit back to them.
And the best part? EstatePlansDirect.com has provided a coupon code for WritRams readers to get 20% off of your estate plan of choice now until September 30, 2011 (JUST EXTENDED!) December 31, 2011! Just use the code Parents20 during checkout to get your discount. (Coupon code is good in any state that the website is serving. Please check EstatePlansDirect.com to see if service is available in your state.)

I need this because it was my New Year’s resolution and I still have not done it yet!
Ditto other comment. Steve and I have talked about how we have to get our acts together and just get a will done and we never have. We swore after each son was born, “This year, we do our wills!” Now the youngest is 5 and… still no will. This is a great giveaway!!
Didn’t really think about it but we have had another baby since ours was last done!!! Please enter us!
I need this because I had a baby a year ago and still have not made ANY arrangements if myself or her father meet our demise :(
I want this because having 2 young kids I really need to get a will in place.
We have a young son and really need to get our affairs in order! Embarrassed we didn’t do it before travelling overseas last year.
We definitely NEED this! With 4 awesome kids, I am not sure why we have not found the time to do this yet. Wait…time? What time? But seriously, this is too important to wait until later. Thanks for the opportunity!
We need this! Keep saying we’re going to do it. Have yet to accomplish.
I am recently married and also recently purchased a new home. This is something we don’t want to go by the way side! Thanks for considering us!!!!
