I have an embarrassing admission: until now, we never discussed a will or a trust plan for our family. Although we have made “unofficial” (read: not legally binding) plans for our 3 year old should something happen, The Husband and I had never really sat down and hashed out legal documents for how our assets need to be divided among the girls and to whom that awful antique orange family teapot set will go when we die.

Ditto other comment. Steve and I have talked about how we have to get our acts together and just get a will done and we never have. We swore after each son was born, “This year, we do our wills!” Now the youngest is 5 and… still no will. This is a great giveaway!!
