Open letter to iPad apps
Dear iPad Apps:
I’m on to you and your cute little apps. I love the way that you offer them for free only to get the user hooked so that they must buy the full version.
Also, what’s up with all those great kids’ games? You know my three year old loves the iPad.
I realize that 99-cents isn’t much for a child’s educational app. However, it’s all fun and games until you get an iTunes receipt for $33.78.
Love,
Jackie
PS–See you later! I need some more games.

When asked what my soon to be 3 year old niece needs for her birthday, my brother said her own iPad. She has taken over my sister-in-laws. Their 1 year old hasn’t quite figured it out yet, but knows she has to slide her hand across the screen.
My poor daughter has to make do with her own iPod Touch. She just got upgraded from a 1st gen with no external speakers to a 2nd. My husband wants to get an iPhone so he can give her is brand new 4th gen iPod Touch.
I know. It’s crazy, right? My 3 year old knows more about my iPad (which she has hijacked) than me…
PS–I probably shouldn’t admit that I’ve put THREE FOLDERS full of apps on there for my 3 year old… :o\

@WritRams How do you create folders on iPad? I’ve been trying to figure it out… and just saw you say something in your comments on blog.
@dutchbeingme Hold down the app that you want to move until it jiggles, then drag it on top of another app (you also want in folder).
@WritRams OMG. You know, I asked the guys in the apple store the other day and they didn’t know. Actually said it couldn’t be done.
@dutchbeingme Clearly I need to be working in the Apple store. :o
@WritRams Plus now I have a new “Mac Book Pro” envy so I had to go lookie at them. :)
@dutchbeingme LOL. I think you should find that same kid and school him/her. ;)
3 pages of apps is nothing compared to her own ipod touch since age 3.5
HA! Anna, True! She wins!
