I love receiving Christmas and holiday cards, don’t you?
In this day and age of online everything, there’s still something exciting about opening your mailbox in December to find those holiday card envelopes of different shapes and sizes. However, buying, writing and sending those cards can be a hassle, especially when you already have a million things going on for the holidays. It takes a lot of time (and sometimes money) to get all those cards ready. However, I have a solution for you: Shutterfly.
Shutterfly is an online photo service that allows you unlimited storage of your photographs. You can then use the photos for prints ordered directly from your computer (and even picked up locally, if you wish), cards, invitations, calendars, gifts and so much more.
Their Christmas and holiday card selections are easy to create, unique and affordable. You just go online, pick a design, include photographs of you and your family and then (are you ready?) have them addressed and shipped straight from Shutterfly! It’s a great way to send personalized, hassle-free cards.
One of my favorite Shutterfly Christmas cards is “Rejoice The Lord is King” card. It has the “reason for the season” message that is important in our family, but it also provides ample opportunity to share family images from the past year with collage-style photos on the front of the card. Inside, you add your own greeting and then all the names of your family members. (Don’t forget the pets!)
Another one of my favorites is the “Initially Chic Green Christmas Card.” I love the contemporary look of the card, with it’s geometric shapes and black and white contrasts. As a flat card, the message, six pictures and family names all appear on the front with your cool family monogram. This is definitely a card for the hip family who doesn’t like that traditional look.
If you have a new baby, the “Joyous and Blessed” card is super sweet.
All of Shutterfly’s cards are high-quality stock and you can often choose from a glossy or matte style. Once you finish with your selections and designs, you have the option of Shutterfly placing postage and sending them straight from their warehouse to everyone on your mailing list.
