I guess that isn’t completely fair since I’ve never even watched an episode (nor desired to watch an episode).
There’s no way that E knows who he is…at least not from the people in this house.
So yesterday when they showed a commercial of Spongebob, I was totally perplexed by E’s enthusiasm.
“Look Mommy! LOOOOOOK!” she squealed with delight and pointed to the television.
I was completely ready to blame her dad (especially since he fed her cookies for breakfast and I was just itching for another good reason) until she said, “LOOOOK! LUNCH BOX is coming on!”
There was a moment of silence before my burst of laughter.
“LUNCH BOX!” I snorted while E looked on in confusion.
And I stroked her hair in the “Oh, you’re so cute” way and cackled, “LUNCH BOX!”
And then I laughed hysterically throughout the day each time I thought of it.
LUNCH BOX!
HAHAHAHAAAAHHAAAHAHAHAHAA
I mean, if it was a cartoon about a food container, I’d totally watch it. (Hellllooooo…FOOD…) A sponge that lives under the sea just seems dumb.
Hey Nick Jr.: Have your people call my people. I have a new show idea.

Lunch box! That is funny. My son once in a blue moon wants to watch SpongeBob (who I dislike). Mostly he watchs Playhouse Disney, NickJr, and PBS kids. I dread when Kiddo gets exposed to lots more at Kindergarten in the fall.
It is Joanna’s favorite show!
Did you really mean it is JOE’s favorite?!?
LOL
